    The AMS Awards Selection Committee announced the awardees of the first AMS Awards 2008. The AMS award (Acupuncture and Meridian Studies Award) is provided by the Korean Pharmacopuncture Institute (KPI) for excellent research articles submitted to the Journal of Acupuncture and Meridian Studies (JAMS). The title and authors' list of the first AMS Awards are as follows:
