The Korean Pharmacopuncture Institute (KPI) was chartered in 1990 to govern the safety of pharmacopuncture and to modernize the clinical application of pharmacopuncture. Furthermore, a research center with a clean room was established for safe production of herbal extracts and the development of a wide variety of herbal medications. We are on the leading edge of Korean medicine and are proud of our efforts to modernize Korean medicine.
To standardize research and development of pharmacopuncture, a lot of researchers are trying to make the data of the safety and efficacy of pharmacopuncture.
Pharmacopuncture therapy will be state-of-the-art Korean medicine with acclimate to nature and make its way into the world. That is the future of KPI.
